Created with a minimal palette that fades from warm beige into soft white, the surface evokes the stillness of a desert landscape.

The meaning of the work emerged only after it was complete. It draws from the book of Exodus, where the Israelites wandered through barren land with no way to provide for themselves. Yet each morning, provision appeared on the ground. It was called manna. It was sweet like honey and just enough for that day.

It invites the viewer to imagine what this miraculous provision might have looked like, spread across the land like a soft covering, as if seen from above.

The artwork reflects that sense of provision. It offers a subtle reminder that even in barren seasons, something unexpected and sustaining can appear. It holds the tension between scarcity and grace. It invites the viewer to consider the quiet beauty of being sustained. Not all at once, but one day at a time.
