This work presents a vision of divine majesty, with angels hovering around a central throne, reflecting and mediating the brilliance of holiness that humans cannot fully bear. The light refracts like the colours of precious stones, jasper, sapphire, and emerald, echoing the radiance described in visions of a city where heaven meets earth.

The imagery contrasts the enduring, eternal nature of God with the fleeting pursuits of human life. The things we worship or cling to on earth ultimately fade. In this space of light and jewel-like radiance, viewers are invited into a moment of reflection, to witness beauty beyond human comprehension, to sense awe and humility, and to contemplate the eternal amidst the temporal.
